Everyone has questions and concerns regarding health and wellbeing. Especially those who have recently moved from India or have family visiting, may need some guidance before they can establish care in the United States. These days due to stressful lifestyle, health related ailments are common and occur at a younger age.
With above in mind, we bring you the DFWMM Health and Wellness initiative which focuses on increasing health awareness and providing informal health related guidance for mandal members and their families.
As a part of this initiative, we plan to conduct health camp/screening, online seminars and talks, and health related guidance in form of informal advice. We will also partner with other non-profit organizations to organize events like blood donation camps.
We have gathered a team of experts in the field of medicine, ayurveda, physical therapy and nutrition who can help individuals in need.
The services offered by this initiative are available to all members. We encourage all members to use this service as an informal recommendation and not as a substitute for healthcare recommendations from your own physician.
Last year we completed our first event which was a blood donation camp which was organized along with SEWA international and was held at the DFW Hindu temple, Ekta Mandir. Next camp was scheduled on 18th February 2024 at the DFW Hindu temple, Irving
